Team Building at Escape Tybee

Team O.I.P.S. (Office of International Program and Services from Georgia Southern University) had a great time and thought it was a very good team building activity.

Want to try something new for Team Building? Come out to Beautiful Tybee Island and enjoy a nice meal, explore the beach or museums and then do a fun, intensive game that stimulates your neurons and allows you to work together as a team towards a common objective.

It may sound like work but escape rooms are a great way to experience “Flow” – a mental state of creativity and hyper-concentration (or being in the “Zone”). Working together to solve the puzzles in an escape room is more like a wild ride where you discover each other’s strengths and weaknesses, bond over great solves (ah-ha!), build new relationships, strengthen old ones, and come out as a stronger and better team.

Free Parking all Day at Escape Tybee if you book a game!

PERFECT DAY:

Book a time at Escape Tybee – maybe 4:30?
Get to Tybee somehow in the morning (we have free parking!) and bike or cart around (see rentals below) – note: you can rent bike from Tim’s online and have them deliver it to Escape Tybee for you.
First stop: Get some coffee at Tybean.
Second Stop: Visit Lighthouse.
3rd Stop: Visit Battery Garland museum too.
Hungry for lunch? – North Beach Grill is right there or Bike on Beach (if low tide) down to Salt Island Fish and Beer.
Work off that lunch and go to the Deck and grab a cocktail first (you are about a mile away from Escape Tybee now).
If you have time, you can also grab a cocktail at many of the establishments down near Pier (adds another 3 miles). You can bike and drink but don’t drink and drive.
Head Back to Escape Tybee for your game.
Eat at 80 East or Hucapoos for dinner.
